Publix Greenwood
Building a New Retail Center for East Nashville
Crain Construction teamed with two longtime partners to build a 72,830-square-foot multi-use development in East Nashville, anchored by a Publix grocery store.
Partnering with repeat clients H.G. Hill Realty Company and Publix, we served as general contractor for the project, which spans 5.3 acres at the intersection of Gallatin and Greenwood avenues.
Project highlights
- Built 31,028-square-foot Publix grocery store. It is one of more than two dozen projects we have completed for Publix, ranging from retrofits to renovations to new builds.
- Made road improvements and installed new sidewalks along Gallatin Ave., West Greenwood, Greenwood, and Sharpe avenues.
- Development includes a 2,100-square-foot Starbuck’s building and a 3,350-square-foot Chase building.
- Built a 6,000-square-foot structure across the street that includes three retail storefronts.
